make mplayer auto open/play a wmv movie

or avi etc so when you click the movie file just auto opens and runs?
You mean change the default movie player? right-click on the desired file e.g., ****.avi, go to properties. Go to the "open with" tab, choose the program you want to open it with. It will automatically open all .avi files with the program that you selected.
