I installed the Ubuntu ONe client according to the instructions in the post here:
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=104985
This worked for the user that posted it. But on my system when I select Ubuntu One from the Preferences menu I get a "busy" mouse pointer for about 5-10 seconds and then nothing happens. If I click the Ubuntu One icon in the System Settings control panel it does absolutely nothing that I can see. I also tried installing using the "Ubuntu ONe Installer" found in the Software Manager, but when I select the Ubuntu ONe menu item after that it just re-runs the installer. There really isn't a clear method to installing this software, as I've always had to guess at what to install in previous Mint editions (I started with 11) but I eventually got it to work. But not this time.
AMD 32-bit dual core processor (it's an HP Pavilion Slimline s3020n)
32-bit Cinnamon edition (does the same thing when I use the Gnome session, though)
Dual boot setup with the original Vista that came with the system
2GB RAM
Thank you in advance for anyone who may be able to help.
