Hi everyone,

I recently updated Audacity to the latest version as per Mint Update. It was very slow and wouldn't play anything. I uninstalled it and went back to the earlier version and had no problems.

The version that works for me is 1.3.3-beta.

I now notice that there has been another upgrade listed 1.3.4.1-beta (or something similar). Has anyone given this a try. I don't want to throw away m current version if the new one is still going to be a problem.

As far as I can see 1.3.3 is the version in the software portal as well as in Synaptic
