Hello fellow Mintee's,
Could someone recommend video editing software for Linux/Mint? I will need to capture from a DV source with firewire, edit the captured video & then author it to a DVD with menus. Is there a package that does this all or will I need separate packages for each function?
TIA

Re: Video Editing
Husse,
I did do a google search on this subject before I posted here. I was asking for recommendations from other users on what they were using. Maybe I didn't make my question clear enough.

You did not even mention it
No harm done - it's good that you did google, it seems a lot of people have not heard of the possibility to search the web - and that's why you got that answer

I am a relative noob to Linux so go easy on me. I've been tinkering with PC's for about 16 years now, but the feeling I have with Linux compares to when I got my first DOS/Win 3.1 machine.
Thanks for the links and any help you can offer.

Thanks to Husse with his helpful links, I was able to find Kdenlive (http://www.kdenlive.org). It looks like it is going to fill my needs for a complete video package.
