I have successfully opened and run Hearts in Ubuntu, Fedora and Open SuSE but the application will not start in Linux Mint. I'm retired and frequently need some time playing hearts to get sleepy - but I feel like a moron using Virtual Box to launch Ubuntu so I can play. A little help for an old fella would be deeply appreciated.

I never got it to work on Mint either. It has a bug for which a solution is given somewhere on these boards but it's so complicated that I couldn't be bothered with it. All is not lost however, as you can play Hearts on the DKM Cardsharp site or at Java.com.
