All the sudden, K3b (the CD/DVD burning software) as well as a totally unrelated Python program "poclbm" (used for Bitcoin mining) are both giving me Segmentation Fault errors.
My bitcoin miner worked until I rebooted my machine. Now I can't start it to save myself, and I've never received the "Segmentation Fault" error before.
Then I was trying to burn a backup, and it all the sudden didn't have "permission" to access my DVD-R drive, even though I burnt a few DVDs just a week and a half ago! I went in to "K3b setup" and created a new group "burning" and checked the appropriate boxes and clicked "Apply" Then it gave me the segmentation fault, instead of the lame excuse that it didn't have permission to access my burner.
What's going wrong with my machine? Is it a grave problem with Mint 13?
