Am I the only one to experience zillions of Firefox crashes. This application is fast becoming the Windows of the browser world. I am constantly having to reload the damn thing as it crashes due to a pdf download, a por bit of java script, opening RealPlayer...
Roll on version 3 in the hope that things will improve.
Note - currently running ver 2.0.0.12.
Ciao

Re: Firefox gripe
I get more than my share of Firefox crashes...but I always associate them with the Flash plugin...
Maybe with the much hyped news that Adobe is joining the Linux Foundation they will get around to releasing a stable Flash implementation for Linux.

Re: Firefox gripe
Could be a Flash problem, whatever it is it affects Firefox under Win XP also.
It seems to be a java script issue- try http://www.saint-gobain.com/en/html/soc ... =1&pays=18
and click on any of the listed activities. Crashes my Firefox (under Mint - haven't tried XP) without fail.
However Firefox 3 handles the page perfectly. Roll on Firefox 3.
OK Things just improved a lot, loaded the JRE Firefox extension. Now wha isn't that installed automatically?
