I have been using Kubuntu and decided to take the Mint plunge. On Kubuntu, I installed Dropbox using these instructions without a problem:
http://www.nixternal.com/kde-and-dropbox/
After installing Mint KDE I simply cannot get this to work. I click on the dropboxd file and it will not open Dropbox as it did while installing in Kubuntu. I don't understand why it will not start it.
I must have Dropbox. I work on three machines one of which has to be Windows. Without Dropbox I would have a problem. I either get it working with Mint or I will have to go back to Kubuntu.
Please help...quick!
Jesse

Re: Mint KDE and Dropbox
Looking in software management I found Dropbox and installed it. So far so good. Hopefully solved.
