<SOLVED>alternative programe to dp disk formate utility

hey guys i want to knwo if there is a software in linux alternative to hp disk formate utility which is used to formate memory cards and usb drives to desired formate

I don't know the hp software you refer to, but if I want to format anything in Linux I use gparted.

Disk Utility or just Disks in newer version of gnome.
