I often use gcalctool in programming style.
I can quickly have both the binary and decimal representation of my integer results.
I have a 64bit hardware and several mint64 flavor. (but huge fan of cinnamon)
The MATE editions don't give any trouble with the new gcalctool (another name, I don't remember).
The cinnamon editions (in mint 12, 13, 14rc ) give some troubles :
try to enter 10^12, and 10^12 - 1 : the limit is shown.
try to enter any number greater than 10^12, it will the same.
In the first case you will have a scientific representation (and no binary representation),
not in the second case.
In prog-style I (and surely many other users) would rather prefer have always full integer representation and no scientific representation, at least until 2^64.
It would be kind to have a better output with cinnamon.
Thanks if you can fix that.
