Truecrypt rights problem

Hello!

I'm running Mint13 XFCE with two partitions, one 20gb ext4 for linux and one 230gb ntfs for the data, since I had right management problems using truecrypt on ext4.
I use a 30gb safe and it worked well so far, I have stored my dropbox folder and thunderbird profile in it. thunderbird had this problem of not shutting down properly and thus can't start anymore which can be solved by deleting the "parent" file in the profile folder. I haven't changed anything, but now I can't delete or create anything. All settings regarding "read only" are set appropriate. What do I have to do in order to set the rights correctly? (Although they seem to be set right)
