LibreOffice Bug

Postby Zach99 on Sun Nov 25, 2012 5:53 pm

I've been using LibreOffice to open files on the server of the school district that I work for from my home computer and I've been getting a really obnoxious error. I click on the link to the files, select "open with LibreOffice," and the firefox downloads the file just fine. However, when LibreOffice then tries to open it, I get the following error:

/home/USERNAME//tmp/FILENAME.doc does not exist

The problem seems clear. The path is incorrect. It should be (and correct me if I'm wrong), just /tmp/FILENAME.doc So I downloaded the files to my downloads folder and tried to open them the old fashioned way by double clicking on the icon, but I STILL get a similar error message. This time it reads:

/home/USERNAME//home/USERNAME/downloads/FILENAME.doc does not exist

Again, the path simply should be /home/USERNAME/downloads/FILENAME.doc However, if I rename the files, they open just fine. Any ideas as to why this is happening?
