Install RELEASE Showed up in menu [SOLVED]

Postby bigj231 on Sun Nov 25, 2012 6:34 pm

The title says it all. "Install RELEASE" showed up in the menu. It's under the Administration sub-menu. I can't find it to remove it in the "Edit menu" app. Running Mint 13 with backports from 14. Does it simply update to Mint 14, or is it something I should look into?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I ended up fixing it. It was remnants of ubiquity left after installation. I do find it odd that it only showed up after installing the backports from 14 though. Hopefully somebidy finds this useful.
The line of code I used was.
Code: Select all
sudo apt-get purge ubiquity*
