Problem with amule after trying the uPNP option

Postby akiko on Tue Dec 04, 2012 5:22 pm

Hi,

After trying all the solutions I could find on trying to fix Low ID / firewalled connections on amule, I tried selecting the 'use uPNP to set up ports' option within amule, now it won't connet to any server (timeout), and the attempts to connect to the Kad network give the error 'WARNING! Client UDP-Socket: Packet to xx.x.xxx.xx:34141 discarded due to error (2) while sending.connections.

I've googled to no avail. Please can anyone offer a solution? I'm using Lint Mint Cinnamon and am completely new to linux. I'm connected via wireless connection to a linksys router (with port forwarding). I don't think this is the problem as it works fine with my PC and a wireless connection.
