Dropbox on nemo and caja

I'm running Mint 14, originally with Mate but I've also installed cinnamon on it, because I plan to use both DEs, at least for now.
I'm also using dropbox. I installed nemo-dropbox for cinnamon with no problems, but when I try to install caja-dropbox to use with Mate it says that it would conflict with nemo-dropbox.

Is there a specific reason for this? Why can't there be two different file managers, both having a dropbox extension installed?
