[solved] Item on Tasty menu won't delete (KDE)

I'm running Mint Darnya KDE. I must have done something while changing preferred applications that added a new but broken entry for KPDF (the icon won't launch anything) to my Tasty menu. However, the new item resists modification and deletion.

I right-click on it and select edit item, which opens the KDE menu editor. I select the new instance of KPDF, click delete, click save, and exit. But she won't go away. Same goes for actually editing the item so it will launch KPDF. Though my preference would be just to delete the entry.

Suggestions?

...this might seem like an insult but it's NOT...
You DO press the save icon before you close the editor, right?
Then expand another category in the menu and then go back to the one where the entry you were editing is/was...
...if that doesn't do it, a simple restart of KDE might...

Yes, I click save, though I can't blame a man for trying.

I've tried rebooting, disabling session saving, and removing Tasty from the Kicker and adding it again (though I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling Tasty, yet).

I know that Puppy Linux has a boot command that disregards the previous x number of saved sessions, but I haven't dug out my rescue disk to see whether the syntax also works in Mint.

What's so odd to me is a combination of it being created by my changing default applications to handle ps files (from KGhostview to KPDF), and that, as the picture shows, it's a shortcut to nothing.

Uninstalling and reinstalling KPDF, and then deleting the item in the KMenu editor fixed it.
