Hi,
I've been booting Linux Mint 4.0 KDE light from CD and there doesn't appear to be OpenOffice or any other software for editing .doc files. All I need to do with this is write. Did I just choose the wrong version? Reviews seemed to say it was the best of Mint...

Just download the full DVD version of the KDE it includes OpenOffice.

Yeah, OpenOffice has been cropped off the light edition to make it fit on a CD...
Btw, why did you choose this one instead of the full version ?

Does KDE full include macromedia flash? is there a list somewhere of hwat software is included in each release?
