OpenOffice not in KDE light?

Postby soyned on Mon May 05, 2008 11:28 am

Hi,
I've been booting Linux Mint 4.0 KDE light from CD and there doesn't appear to be OpenOffice or any other software for editing .doc files. All I need to do with this is write. Did I just choose the wrong version? Reviews seemed to say it was the best of Mint...
Thanks,

Yeah, OpenOffice has been cropped off the light edition to make it fit on a CD...
Btw, why did you choose this one instead of the full version ?
Is it because you don't have a dvd burner ?
In libro veritas

Now switched to : ArchLinux
