Allright, so, i've gotten this error recently,

GPG error: http://archive.ubuntu.com precise Release: The following signatures were invalid: BADSIG 40976EAF437D05B5 Ubuntu Archive Automatic Signing Key <ftpmaster@ubuntu.com>Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/bimsebasse/cin ... 4/Packages 404 Not Found
Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/bimsebasse/cin ... 6/Packages 404 Not Found
Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

And i'm wondering how you're to update your own repositaries so that you can at least keep your system up for the most part...


Or should i just upgrade to 14?

bimsebasse's Cinnamon extras was discontinued: http://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=98316&f=208. So you should remove this PPA. To do so, open Software Sources from the menu and on the "Other Software" tab remove all entries for bimsebasse's PPA (there will probably be two entries). And on the "Authentication" tab remove the signing key.
