does 4.0 main include macromedia flash?

Postby perspehone on Mon May 05, 2008 10:14 pm

I just read on release notes that Daryna 4.0 Light does NOT include proprietary software including Macromedia Flash. Does this imply that Daryna 4.0 Main does include it? Because if that's the case, life is good. I only ask because I don't want to burn the iso to a CD and find out it's not included.

Yes. That's the difference between main and light.

Main includes proprietary software for media, like videos, sound and flash, ofcourse. The light-edition does not so magazines can legally distribute Mint. Not a big problem anyway, there's a mint-file in the software portal that installs all these proprietary softwares if you want and you're using light. =)
