Where can I find a list of software incl. in a release?

Post by persephone »

The title says it all! Release notes don't seem to include this.

http://distrowatch.com/table.php?distribution=mint

You may wish to refresh using the 200 checked packages option.

If you are trying to get a list of software for a Mint release you have already installed all you need to do is open a terminal and enter the following :

Code: Select all

dpkg -l
This will list all the software installed by default with the distro plus anything else you have added since ...

DistroWatch just tracks selected packages. See:
