Teamspeak 3 and Mint14

Postby jonah1967 on Thu Jan 10, 2013 11:22 am

Hi real new user to Linux so please bear with the total noob but i am trying to install Teamspeak 3 on Mint 14 and i keep getting this error.

gedit has not been able to detect the character encoding.
Please check that you are not trying to open a binary file.
Select a character encoding from the menu and try again.

The text also says its a run file so after reading earlier posts with regards to using the software manager only TS2 on there and allowing the TS3 file to become executable i am now stumped any help would be greatfully received.
