Linux Mint is Ubuntu-based. So this means that your Linux Mint 13 version is basically Ubuntu 12.04 and they are both LTS versions (LTS = Long Term Service).
So, it's not such a shocking thing to find out when your Linux Mint 13 mentions that it's Ubuntu 12.04.1. Mint is based on Ubuntu.
I realise that Mint 13 is based on the equivalent LTS version of Ubuntu - been using Mint (and Ubuntu) since Helena.
But the change of logo when I clicked on System Settings > Details screen was a surprise - I've never experienced it before and
when I last went to that screen it had the Linux Mint logo. So I don't know what happened to change it - I certainly didn't.
I'm still wondering why it changed by itself and if anyone else has had it happen to them.
Regardless, I now have the original Mint logo back.
