Freeguide

Postby johnwgpaton on Tue Jan 22, 2013 7:31 pm

I used to have Freeguide (TV Listings application) on Mint 12.

Just completed a fresh install of Mint 14 (ie not an upgrade) and neither the Software Manager nor Synaptic list Freeguide.

The Freeguide website says that I need to have "Community Maintained Open Source software (Universe)" checked in the software sources list but it is not one of the options. I don't know what the URL is for this repository - can anyone help.

Thank you

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

It looks like the last edition of freeguide was 6/25/2010, and they were asking for maintainers to take it over back then. My guess is you're out of luck unless you want to try to download it directly from Sourceforge and cross your fingers that required dependencies for it are still in the repos. http://sourceforge.net/projects/freeguide-tv/files/
