Hi. I'm a newbie, this is my first post on these forums and I'm trying to follow this instructions to get GLUT on my machine:http://web.eecs.umich.edu/~sugih/course ... wto/#linux
But when I try to run this command on the terminal: "sudo apt-get install freeglut-devel
", I get this message:Unable to locate package freeglut-devel
I went to software manager->edit->software sources
and checked everything at Downloadable from the internet
on LinuxMint Software tab, and also checked everything at Other Software tab. Then I ran apt-get update on terminal and tried again but still got "Unable to locate package freeglut-devel"
I'm using Linux Mint 14 mate 32-bit
If this is not the right way to post this question, please forgive me and tell me how to do it.
Help Please. Any advice will be appreciated.
What do you do when you make a mistake in Ubuntu or Linux Mint? How do you take it back? That's my biggest fear when using Linux!
