Gnome-art on fresh installation.....

Postby ElEdwards on Mon May 12, 2008 11:47 am

Hi :)

I just did a fresh installation of Mint 4.0 Gnome on my laptop and did all the updates.

Later on, I used Synaptic to install Gnome-art (Art Manager) but it won't run. When I try to start it, I momentarily see the GUI for it but then it goes away and nothing else happens.

Any ideas?

Thanks!
El :)

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.

I installed Gnome-Art too and I actually reproduced your problem.

I hope someone can do something with this information

Code: Select all
richard@Sphynx:~$ gnome-art
Create program-folder
Create thumbnail-folder
Create temp-folder
Create download-folder
Create backgrounds-folder
Create splashscreens-folder
Create themes-folder
