numlock enabled in Cinnamon LM13 solved

Is there any way to enable "numlock" on startup in LM13 ,Cinnamon/Mate

p.s. I have tried the procedure used in LM9 ,which was successful ,but it does not work for Mint 13 ,Cin.

Install the numlockx package with this terminal command:

sudo apt-get install numlockx

This will enable the numlock key during boot.
