(solved) problems with recordmydesktop and kazam
I am trying to make a video of my htpc desktop to show someone, and I am having trouble. I tried recordmydesktop first and after I click record the window hides but my panel becomes unresponsive so I can't stop recording and have to log out and then log back in. Next I tried Kazam and a similar thing happened. My panel is still available for use but the Kazam symbol on the panel is not responsive, so again I can not stop recording and had to open system tools to stop the process. Has anyone used either of these successfully that can help me out? I am running mint 14 32-bit cinammon.
