Opera 12 starts but I can not access interface on Linux mint

I installed Linux Mint 12 in cinnamon work with sudo apt-get install opera. Was installed. After installation I tried to open opera but not open. Opera browser icon appears in the bottom bar but not released.

Did you install via synaptic or software manager
or manually?

Manually but I installed and the terminal ,and do the same.I installed older versions and have the same problem.I think it's a bug that more happens to the same job and dropboxhttp://ubuntuone.com/0dum2IUqqvdgWSS0Hm5ZRx.Opera its my favorite browser.I hope to be resolved somehow.

Reason I asked was. For me Chromium has been doing funny things, including what you describe.

Try renaming your .opera folder to .opera-old
Then try opera again

.opera is a hidden folder accessed via Ctrl+H
