K3B won't finalize disk

Got two versions of Mint on different machines -- in both of them K3B will not finalize a CD. The app complains that the permissions may be wong and running K3Bsetup is a solution. I've run the setup and changed permission but the app still can't finalize a disk. Any thoughts?

Since you're using two different computers the only logical conclusion is the cd itself. Have tried using a different brand of cd or dvd?

Maybe it has to do something with your permissions settings. Can you check that?
