Evolution+Exchange 2007 - fine on Fedora, Mint - not so!

Postby axis75 on Thu Feb 14, 2013 8:45 am

So I've been distro hopping for a few weeks, and have settled back onto Mint 14 (was on this for a while at first). I spent a bit of time on Fedora, but just couldn't get the hang of non-Debian commands! One of the nice things was however that Evolution worked beautifully out of the box with my work's Exchange 2007 server. All I did was use the online accounts option to add my basic details (user name and server - owa.company.com) and it picked everything up automatically from there...

Really struggling to get the same working on Mint 14 however...

Have installed both the Exchange Mapi and the Exchange Web Services packages, but I just can't get either of them to hook up.

Any thoughts? Given the extremely minimal information that Fedora asked me for, I'm expecting it should be relatively simple!!

Linux Mint is funded by ads and donations.
