Sound converter / gstreamer broken?

I can't get soundconverter to do anything, just trying to convert flac -> ogg I get:

Error: <b>GStreamer Error:</b>
GStreamer encountered a general stream error.


Same thing for anything else (mp3, etc.). Is sc working for anyone in 14?

pacpl (the command line converter) is also broken with regard to ogg, but that's an upstream issue

I've resolved the issue by just using oggenc against it, but is anyone else having issues with it? It seems totally busted ...

Somebody else had the same problem he resolved by installed soundKonverter instead.
