Disappeared "Do nothing" "when battery power is critically l

Post by phidias81 »

Hello, I would like to leave the computer tonight on, till the battery will be drained (ok, not completely as I read from other post), to try to recalibrate it and "increase" battery life. From power management unfortunetely I can't seem to find something like "Do Nothing" on "when battery power is critically low", I can choose only suspend, hiberante or shutdown. I'm on mint 14 mate, and I read in forums that in past version it was possible to choose "do nothing".
I found a post in Ubuntu forum from 2010 giving a tip, but not working for me. Any working tips?

Alt-F2 and launch gconf-editor
Navigate to apps>gnome-power-manager>actions
Change the value of critical_battery to "nothing"

After closing Gconf-editor go into System>Preferences>Power Management to confirm that it worked. It should say "Do Nothing" in that selection box now.
