Hi. I'm using mint 14 cinnamon 64 bits.
I'd like to change default timeout value of cinnamon notifications. Is there a way to do this?

Re: cinnamon notifications timeout
[edit]Sorry, I misread your question. This is how to change the grub timeout.[/edit]
Yes.
in the terminal:
Then scroll down to the line that reads: set timeout=5 and change the 5 to whatever you want in seconds.
Close and save grub.cfg and when you next boot it will have the new timeout. I set mine to 2 seconds, not too long to wait, but long enough to do something.
Yes.
in the terminal:
Code: Select all
gksudo gedit /boot/grub/grub.cfg
Close and save grub.cfg and when you next boot it will have the new timeout. I set mine to 2 seconds, not too long to wait, but long enough to do something.
