eviacam (mouse control webcam), webcam detection problem

Hi everyone, i just installed "eviacam", a program that lets you use your camera as a mouse.

It shows me this when i want to start the program, "Can not initialize the camera. Perhaps is being used by other application".

I installed cheese because linux mint 13 didn't detect the camera in the first time. Cheese and Kopete detect my camera and i can see me, but i don't know how to resolve the problem related with eviacam. (I'm using kde)

I installed "camera monitor" to see if the camera is turn on/off, and it works, but I don't know why eviacam doesn't detect my camera, maybe i have to install a driver?

please, help me.
