Linux Mint 14 (Not LMDE) nVidia SLi 3 Monitor

Postby YTKColumba on Fri Mar 01, 2013 2:33 pm

Hello,

I just install Linux Mint 14 (Not LMDE) and I am having a bit of trouble getting 3 monitors configured. I am currently running nvidia-current which works well with two monitors using TwinView. But depending on my configuration, I either could not get all 3 monitor to start or the mouse is not moving to the other monitors. For example, one of the xorg.conf config, I would try to move the mouse off of the DELL monitor, it would come back on the other side of the same monitor.

Code: Select all
Monitor Layout:

    LG1 | DELL | LG2

Card Input Layout:

    Top Card (GTX 460): DELL | LG2
    Bot Card (GTX 460): LG1

My xorg.conf file is below.

Interestingly enough, the following configure works fine with Linux Mint Debian Edition and I get 3 X session, one on each monitor. (If you're wondering why I don't just switch to LMDE, is because Steam was a pain to get working on LMDE.)

Code: Select all
