Hello. I'm new to Mint 14 Mate

When i try to update Mint from terminal i get those lines

This ppa doesn't exist. You have change the ppa to precise or remove this ppa from your system.

Two ways to fix this problem. open a terminal type in (or copy and paste this)

sudo pluma /etc/apt/sources.list

place an # next the link so it looks like this(or copy and paste this).

# http://ppa.launchpad.net/alecive/antigone/ubuntu/dists/quantal/main/binary-amd64/Packages
# http://ppa.launchpad.net/alecive/antigone/ubuntu/dists/quantal/main/binary-i386/Packages

This will stop the your system from updating and using those ppas. Also you can instead placing an # you can change the quantal in the lines to precise to look like this.

That will allow you to use the ppa and shouldn't give anymore errors while updating.

Moreover you can use menu>preferences>Software Sources>other software tab uncheck those box next to the ppas.That will have the same effect as first procedure. Or you can choose to click on the ppa and remove them by using the remove button.
