How do I get the red wavy line on openoffice

How do I get the red wavy line under misspelt words to appear.
it's the right language. and autocorrect is on.

Found the solution - you need a langugae that has an abc checkmark beside it under tools - option - language setting -l anguges - default.

I think with autocorrect being on (check spelling as I type), you would still get the red wavy line (correct this misspelled word) selection: you say you don't is that correct?

I usually don't use that method, I simply run through my document after editing and check spelling, of course it doesn't detect mistaken words (real words but not correct for that sentence), if it is somewhat syntactically correct.
