HTC Sync

Postby Dominosdad on Thu Mar 14, 2013 1:49 pm

I have an HTC phone.
HTC sent me a link that was supposed to give me a version of htc SYNC Manager for Linux.
It lead to a message saying that now they only support Windows and Mac, instead.
Is there a way to get an equivalent? I tried a search through Linux' software manager, but could find nothing. Maybe because I wasn't looking for the right thing.
:(

You can also try other methods, for example tethering

I presume, htc sync software is what you are using: yes there seem to be issues as a search for Ubuntu + htc + sync reveals

sorry that looks like an advertising site for web stats only, although it does give web site names..
--I would check the various issues and see if you have a solution or indeed use tethering instead, it is likely to be more reliable, albeit not the same as a sync-to-me style

htc tethering..
