Moonlight and Linux 14

I've recently installed moonlight on Linux 14 with the version of Firefox pacckaged with the OS. When I try to open webpages needing Moonlight there is only a blank page. This includes the examples on the Moonlight website. If I cant resolve this problem I shall have to revert to MS Windows, so I am a bit desperate.
