Terminal incorrectly colored

Postby Misnomer on Fri Mar 22, 2013 2:20 pm

I'm trying to make my terminal use the solarized color pallete by using this:
Code: Select all

However when I run:
Code: Select all

The background is set correctly but the rest is not colored correctly. The text show up as slightly lighter versions of the background.

And I'm running the cinnamon version of Linux Mint 14.

There are Solarized color schemes available for many applications: Vim, Emacs, IntelliJ IDEA, Netbeans, Mutt, GIMP and more. Below I'll tell you how to set up Solarized for Gnome Terminal (and Guake) as well as Gedit
--will also depend on which terminal application is used on the system..

Pick another terminal program, for example gedit, and check the colors
