I just used CrossOver Office to install Microsoft Office. It said it was installed, but now I can't find it. I am using Mint KDE Community Edition.

Umm.... Two questions. Why did you buy crossover when you could use wine? And second, why are you using MS Office when you could use openoffice.org?    If CO is like wine, it will be in it's installed apps under whatever crossover installs in.

I once tried to install MS Office 2003 under Wine. What a mess that turned out to be, although I'm sure Wine handles office much better now, than it did back when I tried it. With Crossover I'd imagine the install went pretty smoothly. Anymore though I'm of the opinion that unless a person really needs MS Office for work, that it's just not worth it. Hell you can even make Open Office fully compatible if you are willing to jump through a couple hoops. For my limited needs I've installed the Microsoft fonts, and have my default file type in Open Writer set to save as an MS .doc file.

Oh and about your question...I'd love to help but I've never used Crossover...sorry.
