Backup application/software

Hi folks,

I don't know if I should post this here or in the newbie section, it's up to your judge :P

I'm enjoying Linux Mint a lot and now that I want to make backup from my external HD to my laptop HD I have this question: is there any backup software coming with Linux Mint? I searched for it but I found nothing. Is there any? In case there isn't, could you point me out a good alternative to install?

Yeah, basically I want to replicate the contents of certain folders in my external HD to my laptop HD, nothing to do with OS settings, etc, just personal stuff :)

Try mintbackup.
