VLC 0.8.6h

When will the latest version of VLC (http://www.videolan.org) be added to the Software Portal? Currently, the latest version is 0.8.6h but the version in the Software Portal is only 0.8.6e.

Hi ab4rl1,

Thanks for using the Software Portal :)
At the moment, most of the applications available are those present in the repositories.
So, for this we rely on Ubuntu since we use their repos.
We will be working on including newer versions for software, however i can't give you a date or anything.
So, stay tuned and keep Mintin' :wink:
