Pidgin Internet Messenger

Postby 118118eddie@googlemail.com on Tue Jun 17, 2008 5:31 pm

Hi, can anyone help?

I'm using pidgin internet messenger but can't find out the cause of my problem. I want to insert an image into the conversation window but it's greyed out. I can't seem to find out why it's behaving this way as I have no problems with it in Ubuntu Hardy.

Do I really have to reinstall it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't use pidgin but I started to register myself to be able to look into this. For some reason I get "Invalid password" and the attempt fails and a google search does not reveal anything

Eddie: I'm using Pidgin 2.2.1, and have no issue. Just a thought, but are you trying to drag and drop the image to the same user / IM protocol that you had success with in Ubuntu?

Husse: Likewise, which protocol is giving you the error?

Best,

Anthony
