Is there a DVD ripper that...

Post by klemperal »

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a good Linux dvd ripper that can rip more than one audio stream at once and doesn't automatically transcode or convert the vob files into a different format. I know that you can run DVD decrypter, Ripit4me, and DVDshrink with WINE, but these programs aren't supported anymore and don't work with a lot of newer DVDs. Let me know if there is a Linux program(s) that would work for me.

dvdrip is probably the best of the bunch. IMHO, that is. You can rip any or all of the audio streams, transcode everything, or pass through the AC3 audio, and you get to preview the finished product. Very intuitive and easy to use...
