Only "solution" I found is the following url.
http://desktop.google.com/support/li...49&topic=11738
But when I type that in terminal I just get access denied. Indexing files is fine, but it's not doing the webpages. Can anyone confirm if this is a bug or am I just not following the link correctly?

Re: Google Desktop not Indexing Webpages
I'm getting a 404 error with the link.

Here http://desktop.google.com/linux/index.html
It says you must have glibc 2.3.2+, gtk+ 2.2.0+
I installed the glibc and as for the gtk there were a million entries for it.

That is a link to download and install. I actually need the error message or the command that is giving you trouble to try and help. Usually permission problems with terminal commands are cleared up by using sudo in front of the command.
