Nero 3 Linux

Post by iironjade »

I was toying with buying this but, having looked at the description on Nero's site, it seems to be seriously underpowered, albeit much cheaper, compared with its Windows versions.
It seems to be just a burning application with none of the transcoding, quality adjustment, editing or menu making facilities one expects with Nero. Why is this? :?

VLC will transcode any format to another and it is free as well, and there are a couple of decent burning apps for linux.

No need to pay for that resource hog that is nero.
