How to Downgrade to FF2, Please?

I have a terrible time with FF3 and Flash. How can I safely remove FF3 and install FF2 I would like to wait until a later date/release to use FF3.
Using Linux Mint 5 Elyssa on Dell Inspiron 1525 Celeron. I think it is my hardware that is the problem.

You can install FF2 alongside FF3
When you do it, be careful not to use the same profile

Thank you for that, Husse. I started to make changes to my existing profile and the first thing I did was to remove Foxmarks from my add-ons and unbelieveably, my problem with flash went away IMMEDIATELY. It could be that the problems some people are having could be related to some FF add-ons.
