Can someone tell me how to move VirtualBox machines to another computer? I've got some on WinXP and want to move them to Mint 5.0.

Can someone tell me how to move VirtualBox machines to another computer? I've got some on WinXP and want to move them to Mint 5.0.

I've never used VB under Windows .... but ... I have moved VMs from one Linux machine to another ....

All I had to do was copy the VM's hard drive image file from one machine to the other.
Once on the new machine, go into the VB Virtual Disk Manager and add the VM's Disk Drive Image you have just copied over.
Once you've done this create a new VM, give it the same name and O/S etc as before and then point it to the VM's Disk Drive image
you have just added in the Virtual Disk Manager.

Once it's done start the VM and it should be fine !
