Simple Video Editing Question

A great little video editor (very closely resembling Windows Movie Maker) is kdenlive. Works quite well for simple things. Takes a tiny little bit to get used to though

Seems to be useful software, could you point me in the right direction to increase the playback speed of a video clip?
